Motivation for revenge has inspired Auckland FC to yet another win in football's men's A-League

Motivation for revenge has inspired Auckland FC to yet another win in football's men's A-League

A pair of quick goals to end the first half has helped the league-leading Black Knights to a 2-nil win over Western United in blustery conditions just outside of Melbourne.

Coach Steve Corica says they didn't shy away from the fact United had brought Auckland's superb start to the season to an end with a 4-nil drubbing prior to Christmas.

Auckland have kicked five clear of Adelaide - who were upset 2-1 by Newcastle.
