A second week without Damian McKenzie for the Chiefs

A second week without Damian McKenzie for the Chiefs

The All Blacks playmaker - who has a hand injury - is again out of their team for Saturday's trip to play the Hurricanes in Wellington.

Daniel Rona takes the 13 jersey vacated by Anton Lienert-Brown, who's out for the rest of the Super season after breaking his collarbone.

Meanwhile there's a host of changes to the Blues backline in the wake of winger Mark Telea's three-game ban.

AJ Lam will replace Mark Tele'a on the left wing for Friday's home game against the Force - with Xavi Taele slotting in at second-five.

Beauden Barrett is back at first-five after coming off the bench against the Reds.

Skipper Patrick Tuipulotu says it will take a team effort to replace Telea's contribution.

Asafo Aumua and Isaiah Walker-Leawere start for the Hurricanes on their return from concussion layoffs.
