Scott Dixon's lamenting the scandal involving rival Team Penske ahead of the Indianapolis 500

Scott Dixon's lamenting the scandal involving rival Team Penske ahead of the Indianapolis 500

The three top members of their leadership team have been sacked after the cars of defending champion Josef Newgarden and Will Power were caught running an illegally altered part during qualifying.

They've been relegated to the final two starting spots on the 33 car grid for Monday's race.

Dixon says team boss Roger Penske's ownership of the Indy 500, the track and the IndyCar series complicates matters.

The car of Scott McLaughlin - who also drives for Penske - hasn't been caught in the saga.

Hear the interview on SportsTalk from 7pm.
