    Rugby league great Mal Meninga has reportedly just been confirmed as head coach of the Perth Bears, ahead of their entry to the NRL in 2027


    Australian media outlets say the current Australian coach and former Queensland Maroons mentor has got the nod to take charge of the expansion franchise.

    Meninga, an NRL Immmortal and a Raiders, Maroons and Aussie team legend, will relinquish his role in charge of the Kangaroos to take up the Bears job.
