American golfer JJ Spaun has delivered a putt for the ages in clinching his first major crown at the US golf Open at Oakmont

Left with a double putt on the 18th green to win it, Spaun sunk a 64 foot putt for birdie on the 18th to finish one-under and claim a two stroke win from Scotsman Bobby MacIntyre.

Spaun says it was a special way to wrap up the win.
