    Warriors NRL-W captain Apii Nicholls is backing five-eighth Patricia Maliepo to be a key influence for the team moving forward


    The former Black Fern scored the Warriors' sole try in their season-opening 30 to 6 defeat to the Roosters in Sydney.

    Nicholls says Maliepo is already having an impact.
