    Supercars driver Ryan Wood is aware of the risks that accompany being a tough competitor ahead of the season-opener in Sydney today


    The 22-year-old Wellingtonian's got unresolved drama from a 20-25 collision which helped drop standings-leader Broc Feeney out of contention, and pushed teammate Chaz Mostert to a maiden championship.

    Wood told Fox Sports he loves racing hard, but is keen to be smarter in his third Supercars campaign.



    First practice is at 3.55pm, race one qualifying's at 6.20 and the race starts at ten to ten .
