Warriors halfback Shaun Johnson will be sidelined for at least four weeks due to the re-emergence of an old Achilles tendon injury

Warriors halfback Shaun Johnson will be sidelined for at least four weeks due to the re-emergence of an old Achilles tendon injury

The 33-year-old was sidelined last month through a combination of the achilles issue - as well as a pectoral muscle strain.

He returned in the round 15 loss to the Storm - before suffering a hamstring strain in last weekend's heavy defeat to the Titans.

Coach Andrew Webster says it's become apparent Johnson hasn't fully recovered from the initial setback.

Chanel Harris-Tevita will come in at five-eighth with Te Maire to return to the seven jersey for Saturday's clash against the Broncos.
