The Wellington Phoenix are on the lookout for a new head coach

The Wellington Phoenix are on the lookout for a new head coach

Giancarlo Italiano has resigned after a shattering 5-nil A-League loss at home to fierce rivals Auckland FC.

Italiano is no fan of Auckland FC and is desperate for the Nix to front up in the Kiwi derby.

The low light of the sixth-straight defeat to the Black Knights was a horror own goal from goalkeeper Josh Oluwayemi, who headed a long ball into his own net.
