The Crusaders have been demolished by the Brumbies 50-24 in Christchurch to close out the second week of Super Rugby

The Crusaders have been demolished by the Brumbies 50-24 in Christchurch to close out the second week of Super Rugby

The Brumbies took a 19-14 lead into the break and while the Crusaders threatened to get back into the match, the Brumbies always responded and ran in three late tries to ice the match.

Crusaders flanker Ethan Blackadder says the defeat stings.

It's also the first time the Crusaders have conceded 50 points at home.

They face the unbeaten Chiefs away next week in Hamilton.
