Two Australian Super Rugby sides have made a winning start to round three

Two Australian Super Rugby sides have made a winning start to round three

The Reds have overcome the Highlanders 31-14 in Brisbane, while the Force have comfortably topple Moana Pasifika 35-19 in Pukekohe.

It's the first wins for both the Reds and Force this campaign.

Kiwi amateur Yuki Miya has the lead after the second round of the New Zealand Golf Open in Central Otago.

Miya has a one shot lead at 12-under for the tournament - with compatriot Daniel Hillier on his tail at 11-under.

Black Caps pace bowler Matt Henry will depart the tournament following this morning's Super Eight match at the T20 World Cup in Sri Lanka.

Henry will join his wife as they await the arrival of their second child.

He may return for the semi-final stages, should New Zealand qualify.

Melbourne Victory and Adelaide United have played out a one-all draw in their A-League match in Melbourne.
