A big week for the Government as it tries to lure more offshore business investment

Giant companies from across 14 countries, and a range of local business entities, will attend the Auckland Investment Summit, starting on Wednesday and running for the rest of the week.

Together, they manage funds of around six trillion dollars in capital.

The Government's hoping to both secure more project funding and public-private partnerships - while facilitating more sideline deals with local businesses.
