The Foreign Minister has called Te Pati Maori a disgrace to Maori leadership - after it's supported a tangata whenua strike on Budget Thursday

The Foreign Minister has called Te Pati Maori a disgrace to Maori leadership - after it's supported a tangata whenua strike on Budget Thursday

Protest group Toitu Te Tiriti's called for a national day of "activation" - supporting Tangata Whenua and the Treaty.

Te Pati co-leader Debbie Ngarewa-Packer says people are over this Government's oppression.

She says they have the strongest mandate for Maori - who have asked the party to mobilise.

Winston Peters says Te Pati Maori's been on strike since the day it formed, and spends all its time getting headlines from the media about being victims - but they aren't.
