Personal income tax thresholds will rise from the end of July, giving people more take home pay depending on their circumstances.
A minimum wage earner gets about 25-dollars per fortnight - while households with children are an average of 78-dollars better off.
Finance Minister Nicola Willis told the House this Budget is for every day people getting on with their lives.
She says that includes the mums and dads rushing the kids to day-care, working hard, waiting in traffic and watching the petrol light flash.
Big funding winners are health - receiving more than two-billion-dollars, education with 2.9-billion and transport at 2.68 billion.
Another 1.2-billion-dollars will be funnelled into regional infrastructure - and 651-million over four years to support police.
