ACT Party leader David Seymour has set a "noble goal" for the next election

Speaking at the party's annual rally in Auckland, Mr Seymour said he believed they could get 15 percent of the party vote in 2026.
He says the party's polling showed 22 percent on average rate their chances of voting for Act eight out of ten or higher.
Mr Seymour says getting at least two-thirds of that, would transform them from a small insurgent party to a large small party.
He says that figure is vastly higher than New Zealand First's at about two to one, and a little bit higher than the Greens.
