David Seymour's dismissing concerns over the timing of his Treaty Principals bill as conspiracy theories.

A cabinet paper from earlier in the year indicated the bill would be introduced on November 18 -- but that timeline's been pushed to tomorrow.

Te Pati Maori and Labour say this was done in an attempt to interrupt the Hikoi against the proposed bill.

Seymour says the change in date was just a quirk of the way Parliament operates.

He says this has got to be the craziest mountain out of a a molehill ever because, the reality is, in Parliament it chaos and sometimes things are done earlier... and sometimes their done later. 11-06-24 1634
