A Police Association spokesperson claims the public feel safer - three-months into the ban on gang patches in public

A Police Association spokesperson claims the public feel safer - three-months into the ban on gang patches in public

More than three-thousand charges have been laid against gangs since the law was introduced in November.

More than 300 were for patch breaches, with 76 seized.

Association President, Chris Cahill says feeling safe is as important as being safe.

And people in cafes feel better with no groups of patched members on the streets.
