Attempts to patch up what's being described as our broken energy market, don't yet stretch far enough

Attempts to patch up what's being described as our broken energy market, don't yet stretch far enough

An open letter, signed by several influential groups including Consumer NZ and Auckland Business Chamber has been sent to the Prime Minister.

Major Electricity Users' Group Executive Director Karen Boyes says the Energy Minister is engaging and hopefully realises attempts so far are yet to move the dial

She says while incremental change has resulted in positive small steps, she's yet to see action addressing underlying issues.
