Construction on Dunedin Hospital's set to start in "the middle of the year"

The confirmation comes after revelations the number of ICU beds at the hospital, that's being built, have been decreased from 30 to 20 - with options to expand to 40 beds in future.

The Otago Daily Times reports bed capacity related to dementia and aged care is being reduced by almost half.
