More of Malachi Subecz's family are expected to give evidence in the second day of his coronial inquest

More of Malachi Subecz's family are expected to give evidence in the second day of his coronial inquest

The five-year-old was murdered in 2021 at the hands of his carer, following month of abuse.

The inquiry will look into whether mandatory reporting about abuse would've made a difference.

Yesterday, Malachi's mother, Jasmine Cotter, gave harrowing details of her final phone call with her son from prison - feeling something was wrong.

The inquest will today hear from Malachi's cousin Megan Cotter, as well as a Starship paediatrician who earlier treated the boy.
