The small trolleys are avaliable for children to push around while parents do the shopping.
But Woolworths Crofton Downs have removed all the kid's trolleys from its store, after a customer reported a near miss, between the plastic flag attached to the trolley, and a child's eye.
A Woolworths spokesperson says it takes health and safety seriously, and it's doing a full investigation into what happened.
