Kiwi women are overwhelmingly opting to do their own cervical screening

Of more than 380 thousand women who've had a screening check in the past year, more than 80 percent self-tested.
The simple swab-test for HPV - which causes more than 95 percent of cervical cancers - became available a year ago.
Associate Health Minister Casey Costello says the uptake's encouraging - especially previously unscreened people.
She says women have found it quick and easy to use.
