Two people have been charged - in connection to the body of a woman who washed up at Auckland's Gulf Harbour in March

She was dressed in pyjamas and is still unidentified, but thought to be Chinese.

Police say a man and woman have been arrested after trying to leave the country on Sunday.

Both have been in court, accused of offering an indignity to the woman's body - four days before she was found.

Police have also searched an address in Auckland's Orewa.
