    A former Auckland vehicle inspector has been sentenced to six months community detention and community work for issuing fraudulent warrants of fitness


    Dylan Mark Walker gave 183 vehicles unearned WoFs, using the Motor Vehicle Register.

    All the warrants have been revoked and the owners have been told to get a new one.

    NZTA says New Zealanders need to have assurance vehicles on our roads are safe.
