Medical experts believe there are alternative explanations for each of the convictions of UK nurse Lucy Letby

Medical experts believe there are alternative explanations for each of the convictions of UK nurse Lucy Letby

The 35-year-old's serving 15 whole-life sentences after being convicted of murdering seven babies and attempting to kill another seven.

A panel, lead by Dr Shoo Lee, say in all cases death or injury were due to natural causes, or just bad medical care.

Letby's barrister Mark McDonald told Sky News, Lee contacted him, as he wanted to look at the cases after his academic paper was 'misinterpreted' by the prosecution.

He says he put together an international panel of 14 experts, who reviewed everything - and concluded no crimes took place.
