Police have recovered the three stolen dirt bikes which have been wrecking havoc in the Waikato town of Matamata

Police have recovered the three stolen dirt bikes which have been wrecking havoc in the Waikato town of Matamata

There have been numerous reports of the dirt bikes being ridden on footpaths, pulling wheelies on the roads, and failing to stop for police.

Police say they won't tolerate dangerous riding behaviour, which puts riders and the public at risk.

Investigations are underway with charges pending.
