A road safety advocate wants serious action over boy racers

A road safety advocate wants serious action over boy racers

Five bystanders and two Police officers were injured in violent gatherings in Levin and Palmerston North on Friday night.

Ten people are facing a range of charges.

They include an 18-year-old man, due in court this morning on serious charges, accused of allegedly hitting four young people with his car.

Advocate Greg Murphy says there's only one way to stop them.

He says the Government needs to follow through with some decent numbers on crushing cars and the one-strike system.
