Lincoln University is investigating complaints about its dairy farm, south of Christchurch

Lincoln University is investigating complaints about its dairy farm, south of Christchurch

SAFE claims footage from the farm, filmed last week, shows cattle suffering and living in squalid winter conditions.

It says calves are piled into a trailer, a mother cow is chased by a quad bike and the animals are forced to stand in mud.

However, an MPI inspector visited the Lincoln farm on Friday, the day of the complaint, and found no significant concerns.

Lincoln University Provost Chad Hewitt says while MPI found no action is required, they are investigating the issues raised.
