A 75-year-old man and his daughter bought 13 firearms in three months as alleged straw buyers for their relatives linked to the Comancheros motorcycle gang

Most are Alfa Carbine rifles, popular with criminals as they can be cut down into handguns, making them easier to conceal and wield.
Police believe the straw buyer tactic is the most common way for firearms to end up in criminal hands.
Analysis of sales records led to the investigation uncovering the father and daughter's purchases.
Police have since recovered two of the firearms, cut down to pistol size, in possession of a patched gang member and a prospect.
