A Kiwifruit company's no longer being charged over a worker losing their lower leg in a Te Puke warehouse

Two years ago, the employee was struck by a reversing forklift and ran over again when the driver went forward - leading to their leg being amputated.
The company, Trevelyan has now revealed half a million dollars in initiatives, including AI detection on forklifts, reparations for the victim and improved safety training.
WorkSafe says it will drop charges but will prosecute if the initiatives aren't followed through.
