    Police are asking for public help with a homicide investigation in rural Northland


    Ambulance staff found a 55-year-old man's body about 4pm on Friday, at a property on Parakao's Mangakahia Road.

    Police are asking for sightings of a 1999 blue-and-silver Mitsubishi ute - and a man walking on State Highway 14 that afternoon or evening.

    They also want CCTV and dashcam footage at that rime, from Mangakahia Road, Otaika Valley Road and State Highway 14 towards Whangarei.
