    The family of a 17-year-old girl missing in Auckland for nearly a week, are still waiting for news


    Whetu Bennett was last seen at West Auckland's LynnMall, just after 12.30 on Tuesday afternoon - wearing a black dress, beige top and sunglasses.

    Her sister says she had been at the mall with her partner - and understood the boyfriend returned home after a disagreement.

    Her family says Whetu recently moved to Auckland from Waikato - and doesn't have a phone.

    Police are following several lines of inquiry.
