Auckland police are asking the public to help over a broad-daylight aggravated robbery in Birkenhead - and particularly looking for footage

Auckland police are asking the public to help over a broad-daylight aggravated robbery in Birkenhead - and particularly looking for footage

About 1.35pm yesterday, three people entered the Mokoia Road pawn shop, smashing display cabinets and stealing various items.

They took off in a stolen vehicle, which was discarded on Zion Road - and a second stolen car was later found abandoned on Northcote's Potter Avenue.

Police want to hear from anyone who filmed the robbery - or who has dashcam or CCTV footage from the three areas.
