Chief Ombudsman Peter Boshier's looking into whether an email revealing Cabinet discussions should have been released two years ago under the Act.
The email to donors saw Nash sacked this week -- and an investigation into why it was withheld was dropped last year, but is now back underway.
National's Simeon Brown it's the right call -- because the presumption is that all information should be available on request, except when there's good reason.
