Police are working through dozens of calls and emails connected to the murder of Arthur Easton nearly four decades ago

Police are working through dozens of calls and emails connected to the murder of Arthur Easton nearly four decades ago

They've offered a 100 thousand dollar reward for information leading to an arrest and successful conviction.

An intruder killed Easton in his home in Auckland's Papakura in October 1985 - Alan Hall was wrongfully convicted of his murder and spent 19 years behind bars.

Detective Inspector Warrick Adkin says they know there are still people who may have information and haven't spoken to Police.

He stresses no piece of information is too small or insignificant.
