RResidents of an Auckland beach community are dissatisfied with a council review

RResidents of an Auckland beach community are dissatisfied with a council review

It addresses traffic-related bylaws, including vehicles on beaches - and calls for a more robust permit approval and enforcement system.

Madison Chamberlain was a 19-year-old who died earlier this year when a ute rolled on Muriwai beach.

Muriwai Community Association Co-chair Clare Bradley wants more serious action against regular dangerous drivers on the beach.

She's unsure if a change to bylaws would properly address the problem.
