Power's been restored to a section of Auckland's train line - which had been out since two workers suffered electric shocks early today at Parnell Train station

Power's been restored to a section of Auckland's train line - which had been out since two workers suffered electric shocks early today at Parnell Train station

It caused delays and cancellations across the network.

Kiwirail says one worker is in a stable condition at Middlemore hospital, and a second contractor has been discharged.

It says power's back on between Newmarket and Britomart - with the maintenance vehicle touching the lines removed.

AT says all trains should now be running as normal.
