About 160 staff will be affected by the liquidation of solar power company, SolarZero

About 160 staff will be affected by the liquidation of solar power company, SolarZero

It has around 15-thousand customers, who don't pay up-front - but sign an ongoing multi-decade lease.

Chief executive Matt Ward told Business Desk their shareholder's stopping investing in the business.

Herald technology editor Chris Keall says customers have been told their contracts remain the same and a third party company will take over servicing.

He says they've already seen angry and confused customers on Facebook - even though the liquidator is trying to reassure them.
