SailGP boss Sir Russell Coutts has confirmed that talks are in place for Auckland to be a long-term fixture on the event's calendar in the years to come

It's the third year of a four-year hosting agreement in New Zealand - and the first in the City of Sails - after Christchurch hosted the opening two editions.

Coutts told Weekend Sport's Jason Pine he's keen to build on the support already garnered in Auckland.
