An answer to the age-old debate between household felines and canines

An answer to the age-old debate between household felines and canines

The latest Companion Animals NZ Report shows nearly two-thirds of homes have a pet.

CANZ's Natalie Warren says Kiwis are more likely to have a cat - at 40 percent - against 31 percent with dogs.

She says more than half of people without a pet want one - but are stopped by perceived costs and rental restrictions.
