Police are searching for the driver of a white ute which reportedly struck two women and their dogs in Auckland's Paremoremo

Emergency services were called to Attwood Road about 7.10am.

One woman was seriously injured - and the other one moderately.

One dog sustained serious injuries and was taken to a vet - while the other dog has yet to be found.

Sergeant Jason Cleeton, says the vehicle left the scene without stopping.
