Wout van Aert has secured victory on the last stage.

Laurence Pithie finished 89th on his maiden tour as a domestique.

Oscar Piastri has won a rain-delayed Belgian Formula One Grand Prix at Spa from teammate Lando Norris.

The result marks McLaren's sixth one-two finish for the season.

Racing Bulls' Liam Lawson earned four further points, coming home eighth.

Tactix netball captain Erikana Pedersen has credited coach Donna Wilkins for her role in helping the franchise win their first ANZ Premiership title.

They dethroned the defending champion Mystics 58-46 in the final.

Pedersen says they couldn't have achieved the feat without Wilkins, in her first season as boss.

A top-two NRL league finish is getting more difficult for the Warriors to achieve after the Raiders and Bulldogs secured wins last night.

Canberra claimed a 44-18 win over Newcastle to sit on 36 points, while Canterbury trounced Manly 42-4 to lie two points behind.

Melbourne remain third with 32 and the Warriors are on 30 in fourth with six rounds to play.

The fourth India-England cricket test has finished in a draw at Manchester, but more antagonism has enveloped the series.

India refused to bend to suggestions from England captain Ben Stokes to call the game off once they refused to declare and set a chase.

The hosts lead the series 2-1 with one match to play at London's Oval, starting Thursday night.

Canadian Summer McIntosh has won the 400-metre freestyle at the World Aquatics Championships in Singapore.

Erika Fairweather's quest to defend her title ended in disqualification during the heats due to a false start.

The Wellington Phoenix are through to the last 16 of football's Australia Cup after winning a penalty shoot-out against the Glory in Perth.

The scores finished level at 1-all after extra time in pouring rain.

Lukas Kelly-Heald slotted the Phoenix's winning penalty for an 8-7 shoot-out score.
