The partner of Du Val investor Karl Lindeman is blaming his death on the company's collapse

The 58-year-old died after his truck left State Highway 25 near Whangamata on Wednesday morning as he suffered a heart attack.
His partner, Megan Michie, told BusinessDesk she believes the stress of the Du Val saga killed him.
Lindeman had invested in the Du Val Mortgage Fund Limited Partnership and later Du Val Property Group.
He was outspoken when they were placed under statutory management in August last year.
