Leslie Grossman and Sascha Penn are married

The American Horror Story actress and the Creed II film producer said "I do" during a private ceremony back in July 2025 on Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts - the same island where they got engaged in August 2024 - and Leslie is enjoying every second of married life with Sascha.

She told People: "I feel like we waited a long time to find each other, and it's about maximising the time that we have to be together.

"What I'm most looking forward to is honestly all of the mundane little things about sharing a life with someone.

"My hopes are not big sweeping things, it's about all of the small little things that make sharing a life with someone so special."

Leslie - who met her 55-year-old spouse on a dating app in 2022 - says women can find love at any age, even after divorce.

The Good Place alum - whose ex-husband, Jon Bronson, filed for divorce in 2020 after 21 years of marriage - said: "You can meet someone when you both come into it with full lives and stories and a little emotional mileage, and it can still be as good as you thought it was going to be when you were a very young person.

    "In fact, it's even better."

Leslie did not think she would find the love of her life in her 50s.

The 54-year-old star admitted: "It sort of knocked my socks off. [It] has added this whole huge new heart to my life that I didn't even know I needed or I wanted.

"And it's incredibly special when it's coming from this place of just addition. You're building on top of an already full life."

The Popular actress thinks couples get married later in life out of true love for each other.

Leslie explained: "You're together because you want to be, because you're choosing it, not because you need it, you just want them in your life.

"It's just a reminder that it is never too late to start again and to begin again and to add a new chapter. It's never, ever, ever too late."

On New Year's Eve (31.12.25), award-winning writer-and-director Ryan Murphy, 60, threw "a winter wonderland vibe" celebratory dinner for the newlyweds at the historic Chateau Marmont hotel in Los Angeles, California.

Attendees included All's Fair star Sarah Paulson, 51, and 83-year-old Legally Blonde actress Holland Taylor - who gave "the most lovely speech".

Leslie - who has worked with her "dear friend" Ryan on projects, including Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story - recalled: "It really was the ultimate wedding gift that we didn't know that we needed.

"Ryan was like, 'Listen, your friends and your family want to celebrate you, and I'm giving you a party, and that's that,' which was so sweet.

"It was funny because my first instinct was, 'Oh, let's not make a big deal out of this,' and if you know Ryan Murphy, he's not someone that you say no to.

"And of course, because Ryan is always right, it ended up being truly one of the most special nights of our lives.

"It was so beautiful and perfect and lovely. It was a really great way to welcome in the new year."

Also at the dinner, Leslie - who said Ryan gave an "incredible" toast - and her husband were joined by Sascha's three adult children from a previous marriage.

Leslie's 19-year-old daughter, Goldie - whom she adopted with her ex-spouse, Jon - was also present.

Leslie gushed: "My life is so much richer that I get to know these three people. They're the coolest people, and I'm so lucky that I get to know them.

"And it's so great to see Goldie interact with Sascha because they have a really fun, lighthearted, but meaningful connection. And it's just better than anything I could have imagined for myself."

Reflecting on the bash, Leslie realised how "important" it is to "celebrate with the people who love you the most".

She added: "It was like the bow on the whole thing that we didn't know we needed that ended up being so important."

And Power Book III: Raising Kanan creator-and-showrunner Sascha told his wife that the party "was the best night of my life" when they returned to their hotel room.

Leslie said: "It was so special because it wasn't about the party, it was about just the people there."
