Quinton Aaron has accused his "spiritual wife" of trying to kill him

The Blind Side actor - who is currently recovering after suffering a spinal stroke - has accused Margarita Aaron of having lied to him by not admitting she is legally married to someone else and is convinced she is behind his hospitalisation.

Quinton has also told his family, close friends and staff at the hospital where he is being treated that he doesn't want to speak or speak to Margarita.

In a statement given to TMZ, Quinton expressed his belief that Margarita is Satanic and "was trying to take [him] out".

He added: "[I have made it clear] "publicly, to family, close friends and the hospital staff that I don't want to see her or talk to her."

He plans to focus on his recovery, faith, family and career moving forward.

Margarita told the outlet she never tried to kill Quinton because she loves him and had even urged him to pursue a more healthy lifestyle due to his history of health problems.

She also dec lared herself a spiritual woman of God and added: "If anything came from 'spirits' or 'satanic' it's from Quinton's side of the family."

When it comes to her marital status, Margarita insisted Quinton knew it was a possibility because he was aware her estranged husband had refused to sign divorce papers.

This week, Quinton's brother, Jarred was granted a restraining order against Margarita - who had told medical staff that she and the 41-year-old actor were "spiritually married" - and his famous sibling told TMZ he supports his petition.

Under the terms of the order, Margarita - who is identified in the documents as Margaret DeLeon -must stay away from Jarred and his immediate family.

Jarren had previously expressed concern that Margarita was misrepresenting herself to hospital staff and helping to make "crucial and life-saving medical decisions".

He added: "I genuinely fear for my brother's life."

But Margarita argued she didn't have power of attorney and hadn't been making medical decisions on Quinton's behalf.

She asked: "If he's saying I'm such a bad person, why does he live with me and Quinton?"

Jarred insisted he didn't know they weren't legally married when they all lived together.

He added: "I have all this crucial information that Quinton doesn't know about and now it feels like I've gotten it too late."

At the time, he hadn't planned on telling Quinton his suspicions and wanted to wait until his brother made a full recovery.

His family said in a statement: "Since the health crisis of our beloved family member Quinton Aaron, we have raised some suspicions about the legitimacy of Quinton and Margarita's 'marriage' to each other as well as her legitimacy as a registered nurse.

"We have found some alarming details. We as a family believe Margarita isn't who she claimed to be to us. This has caused us to want to investigate her further."
