Kelly Clarkson has urged fans to praise her post weight loss body

The 43-year-old star has insisted while some people aren't necessarily comfortable with others commenting on their figure, she appreciated a fan during a recent gig who praised her "sexy" appearance

As quoted by PEOPLE magazine, she told fans during 'Hard Rock Live' in New Jersey over the weekend: "Every time I go to an HR meeting, I'm like, 'How have I not been fired?'

"I grew up on the road at 19 years old, you know what I'm saying? I'm like, 'Oh, that is inappropriate. I would never'.

"But they also say you're not allowed to say someone looks attractive, and I say f*** that. "Because some of those b****** are out here working, and we're trying, and I want every motherf***** that passes me to go, 'Damn. Well done.' "

The 'Since U Been Gone' hitmaker - who rose to fame on 'American Idol' and now hosts her own daytime talk show - once almost got "in a fight" with a HR representative over her attitude on the matter.

She recalled: "They were like, 'Well, it might make people feel bad that they looked bad before.' I was fat before, so I'm saying I want you to say, 'Damn.' "

Kelly insisted there's "nothing wrong" with anyone's body, and she still "felt very confident" before her weight loss.

She explained: "I felt fine both ways, but I'm just saying it's a lot more fun with clothes now. And I've been working on it."

The 'Because of You' singer went back to the fan and quipped she "will not be calling HR" about the compliment, but clarified HR "is not a joke".

She added: "I know HR is not a joke, but it is really funny some of the things they talk about, and we're like, 'Oh no. We would never.' "
