Two roads in Canterbury are now open again after they were closed because of crashes

In the Christchurch suburb of Hei Hei, Buchanan's Road has reopened after a collision between a motorcycle and a truck.

The Serious Crash unit was called to investigate after the motorcyclist died at the scene.

And State Highway One in Canterbury's Kaiapoi is now clear after an earlier crash closed the southbound lanes.
