The Otaki MP wants to drive boy-racers out of town, after a man was hit during a burnout meet over the weekend

An investigation's underway after a car, doing burnouts in Waikanae on Saturday, fled the scene after hitting a spectator.

Local MP Tim Costley says it's dangerous and harmful to their community.

He has no time for people who choose to act like idiots.
