    Warnings of severe thunderstorms hitting parts of Waikato around Morrinsville, Waitoa, and Ngarua


    MetService has a red warning in place for the thunderstorms - which it says will move toward the area around Te Aroha and Paeroa at 7pm and be accompanied by torrential rain and hail.
