Six people died when a landslide swamped the campsite after torrential downpours last month.
The Pilot Bay boat ramp is closed for the foreseeable future, and the Lifeguard Service building has been red-stickered.
Tauranga City Council recovery manager, Paula Naude says they'll reassess closures, after the next heavy rain.
She says the mount has 40 landslips - including 29 on the base track - so Mauao also remains closed.
